Arabic "World Land-Bridge" Report Released in Yemen
The Arabic-language translation of The New Silk Road Becomes the World Land-Bridge was released in Sana'a, Yemen, on March 23 by Fouad al-Ghaffari, a friend of the international LaRouche movement. The seminar, organized by the Advisory Office of the Yemeni Club for Coordination with BRICS and the Yemeni Center for Studies and Research, was introduced by one of the best modern Yemeni poets, Abdulaziz Al-Maqaleh, the former President of Sana'a University.
The Yemeni Club for Coordination with the BRICS was launched on Dec. 31, 2015, just as Saudi bombs were falling on the capital, to promote a vision for the future of the country, in contrast to the destruction and geopoliticking of the past years.
Also on March 23, the Arabic version of the EIR special report was presented at a highly successful seminar in Frankfurt, Germany, by Hussein Askary, EIR editor for Southwest Asia.
The gathering in Sana'a on the same day featured a reading of the beginning of the EIR special report on the World Land-Bridge, and weekly readings are planned to study the contents in depth, notably the notion of physical economy.
On March 26, tens of thousands of Yemenis took to the streets of Sana'a to denounce the genocidal war being carried on by the Saudis with massive U.S. support. Event the Washington Post account had to acknowledge that the "U.S.-backed, Saudi-led coalition's entrance into a civil war ... has killed thousands and strengthened the Islamic State and al-Qaeda in this strategic Middle East nation."
The Arabic version of The New Silk Road Becomes the World Land-Bridge, in hard print, can be ordered here, where the purchase procedure is only in German, or by email sent to email@example.com.
