Targetted Assassination in Iran, MI6, the CIA and Israel

Iranian nuclear scientist Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan, Director of Communications at the Nantanz facility where low-level enrichment takes place, was killed Jan. 11, when a terrorist on a motorcycle planted a bomb on the car in which he was traveling. That brings to four the number of Iranian nuclear scientists killed in two years, while a fifth barely survived a car bombing.

On Jan. 12, 2010, a roadside bomb killed physics professor Massoud Ali-Mohammadi, then on Nov. 29, 2010, bombs placed on cars by motorcyclists killed nuclear scientist Majid Shahriari and wounded nuclear physicist Fereidoun Abbasi. Last July 23, 2011, gunmen shot and killed physicist Darioush Rezai. An industrial facility related to the nuclear research blew up last November, shortly after a bombing at a military base near Tehran.

While these acts of irregular warfare have not been claimed, the main suspects are Israel, and British MI6 and U.S. special agents operating inside Iran or from Saudi Arabia. Top Israeli officials, including Intelligence Minister Dan Meridor, have made no secret of their covert operations to attempt and take out Iran's nuclear program.

It was in 2007 that a secret finding of the Bush-Cheney Administration authorized attacks not only on Iran's nuclear facilities but also on the country's nuclear scientists, which is wholly barbarous. And the Obama White House, according to numerous reports, issued new findings, providing for escalated covert action against both Iran and Syria. The targeted assassination of the scientists

Interviewed on Press TV on Jan. 11 on Roshan's murder, Iranian analyst Nader Mokhtari noted that, last year, Mr. Shahriari was "assassinated in exactly the same way; it was a sticky bomb attached to the door of his car - that is the way he was killed. Of course, in that incident, the instigators were apprehended, and they were found to have been trained in Israel and inserted into Iran via the Republic of Azerbaijan border, and this incident is very similar to that."

Mokhtari also pointed that certain U.S. statesmen declare on TV their intention to "kill innocent people in other parts of the world, simply because they accuse a nation of one thing or another...."

President Obama is certainly one of them. In fact, he gloated over the murder not only of Osama bin Laden, and Qadhafi, but of the civilians killed along the way, including American citizens. And he denounces state-sponsored terrorism!

Press TV also covered American blogger Richard Silverstein, who said: "My own confidential Israeli source confirms today's murder was the work of the Mossad and MEK, as have been a number of previous operations I've reported."
